Futures Publishing is an independent house committed to thoughtful, original work across literary and commercial fiction, non-fiction, and academic writing. We read every submission carefully. Please review the guidelines below before sending your work to ensure the best chance of consideration.

MANUSCRIPT REQUIREMENTS
| Word Count (Fiction) | 70,000 – 120,000 words |
| Word Count (Non-Fiction) | 50,000 – 100,000 words |
| File Format | PDF or DOCX only |
| Font & Spacing | 12pt Times New Roman, double-spaced |
| Max File Size | 10 MB |
| Language | English only at this time |
THE SUBMISSION PROCESS
| 01 | Complete the form Fill in your details, a synopsis of no more than 400 words, and upload the first three chapters or 50 pages of your manuscript using the submission form on our website. |
| 02 | Acknowledgement You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 working days confirming we have received your submission. |
| 03 | Editorial review Our editorial team reads all submissions carefully. This process typically takes 8–12 weeks. |
| 04 | Our response We respond to every submission — whether with an offer, a request for more material, or a considered rejection with brief feedback where possible. |
SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSIONS
We understand authors often submit to multiple publishers at once. We accept simultaneous submissions — please simply notify us immediately if your manuscript is accepted elsewhere so we may withdraw our consideration without delay.
WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR SUBMISSION
Please prepare the following before submitting:
- A completed submission form with all required fields
- A synopsis of your manuscript (250–400 words)
- The first three chapters or first 50 pages (PDF or DOCX, max 10 MB)
- A brief author biography — previous publications, relevant background (optional)
- Confirmation that the manuscript is your original, unpublished work
RESPONSE TIME & CONTACT
Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we are unable to provide detailed individual feedback at the query stage. If you have not heard from us within 12 weeks of your acknowledgement email, you may follow up once via our Contact page.
