These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Futures Publishing website at futurespublishing.com (the “Site”), the purchase of products and services through the Site, and any interaction you have with Futures Publishing as a publisher, author, or reader. By accessing the Site or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Definitions
The following terms are used throughout this document with the meanings set out below:

| “Services” | Submission portals, author portals, newsletters, and any other services provided by Futures Publishing. |
| “Publishing Agreement” | The formal contract between Futures Publishing and an author governing the publication of a specific work. |
2. Use of the Website
By accessing and using this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are accessing the Site with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.
You must not use this Site to:
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional material, or spam
- Publish, upload, or distribute any content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, or otherwise unlawful
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its server, or any related systems

- You may share links to pages on this Site, provided you do not imply any endorsement by Futures Publishing

Prohibited use

4. Purchasing Books & Products
Placing an order
When you place an order through the Site, you are making an offer to purchase the product at the listed price. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by Futures Publishing. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated, and include applicable taxes where required by law. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price displayed at the time of your order is the price you will be charged.
Payment

| Payment processing | Payments are processed through a secure third-party payment gateway. Futures Publishing does not store your card or payment details. |
| Failed payments | If your payment fails, your order will not be confirmed. Please retry or contact your bank. |
| Currency | All transactions are processed in INR. International card charges may attract foreign currency conversion fees from your bank. |
Order confirmation
Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation with your order reference. This confirmation constitutes acceptance of your offer to purchase. Please retain this email as proof of purchase.
5. Delivery & Shipping
| Domestic (India) | Standard delivery: 5–7 working days. Express delivery: 2–3 working days (where available). Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. |
| International | 10–21 working days depending on destination country and customs processing. Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. |
| Digital products (eBooks) | Available for immediate download upon payment confirmation. A download link will be sent to your registered email address. |
| Damaged or lost orders | If your order arrives damaged or is confirmed lost, contact us within 14 days at orders@futurespublishing.com. We will arrange a replacement or refund. |
| Incorrect address | Futures Publishing is not responsible for orders not delivered due to an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout. |
6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Physical books
You may return a physical book within 14 days of receipt, provided it is in its original, undamaged condition with no marks, folds, or signs of use. To initiate a return, email orders@futurespublishing.com with your order reference and reason for return.
| Return shipping | Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied. |
| Refund processing | Refunds are issued within 10 working days of receiving the returned item in satisfactory condition. |
| Refund method | Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at purchase. |
| Non-returnable items | Promotional, discounted, or sale items are non-returnable unless faulty. Author copies purchased at preferential rates are non-returnable. |
Digital products
Due to the nature of digital content, eBooks and downloadable products are non-refundable once the download link has been accessed, except where the file is technically faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Order cancellations
You may cancel a physical book order before it has been dispatched by contacting orders@futurespublishing.com. Once dispatched, you will need to follow the returns process above. Digital orders cannot be cancelled once the download link has been issued.
7. Manuscript Submissions
By submitting a manuscript or any other content through our submission portal, you confirm the following:
- The work is your original creation and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
- You have the authority to submit the work and grant the rights described below
- The work does not contain any content that is defamatory, unlawful, or in breach of any applicable law
- You have disclosed any prior publication, simultaneous submissions, or relevant rights arrangements
Licence granted on submission
By submitting your manuscript, you grant Futures Publishing a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to read, assess, and store the submitted materials for the purposes of editorial evaluation. This licence does not grant Futures Publishing the right to publish the work, which is governed separately by a Publishing Agreement if an offer is made and accepted.
No obligation to publish
Submission of a manuscript does not create any obligation on the part of Futures Publishing to publish, respond by a specific date, or enter into a publishing agreement. All submission decisions are at the sole discretion of our editorial team.
8. Publishing Agreements
Where Futures Publishing makes an offer to publish a work and that offer is accepted in writing, the relationship between the author and Futures Publishing is governed by a separate Publishing Agreement. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed Publishing Agreement, the Publishing Agreement takes precedence.
| These Terms and Conditions do not constitute a Publishing Agreement and do not create any publishing rights or obligations. Only a signed Publishing Agreement, executed by both parties, creates a binding publishing relationship. |
9. User Accounts & Registration
Certain areas of the Site may require you to create an account. When registering, you must provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at contact@futurespublishing.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account
- Futures Publishing is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to maintain adequate security
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that are inactive, that contain inaccurate information, or that have been used in breach of these Terms
10. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of this Site and any information you provide is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using this Site, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Futures Publishing processes personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act). If you are accessing the Site from the European Economic Area, we also comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

12. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Accuracy of information
While we take care to ensure that information on this Site is accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information, products, or services displayed.
Availability of the Site
We do not guarantee that the Site will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the Site or any part of it at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability

15. Termination

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India.
Dispute resolution process

| Step 2 — Mediation | If unresolved, both parties agree to attempt resolution through a mutually agreed mediator before initiating legal proceedings. |
| Step 3 — Legal action | If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts of India in accordance with applicable law. |
17. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Publishing Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Futures Publishing with respect to the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
